The Faculty has experienced that there is great interest among companies in relation to the co-financing of PhD studies.
In order for an application to release co-financing from the Faculty for a PhD stipend the following requirements must be met:
- The Faculty's co-financing applies to the Faculty's key areas of interest that are determined in connection with the Faculty's overall strategy. Areas outside the Faculty's strategy must be approved.
- The portion of the co-financing from the company or the foundation is always paid to the university. By doing so, the position becomes part of a FIK-activity (non-commercial research) that is administered by the department.
Applications for co-financing should be sent from the department.
