A person with coronavirus has valuable insight into exactly what symptoms the virus causes, but a completely symptom-free person can also contribute valuable knowledge about the spread of coronavirus in Denmark. Aalborg University has just launched a digital mapping platform where all Danes can contribute by recording their current state of health. The data collected will provide a unique picture of coronavirus in Denmark, and in the longer term may be used in developing vaccines or forecasts for other disease epidemics.
