Postdoctoral recruitment programme
The purpose of the program is to attract younger, external research talents with original and innovative research ideas, thereby contributing to strengthening the talent pipeline and bringing in new external researchers.
Objective and Content
The Faculty of Medicine is actively working to attract more outstanding early-career research talents. This initiative will strengthen the talent pipeline by bringing new profiles, competencies, and ideas to SUND, while also attracting promising external researchers to the faculty.
To support this effort, two open international calls will be launched in 2026 and 2027:
- Three fully funded three-year postdoctoral positions per call
- Positions targeted at early-career researchers from outside SUND
- Applicants must hold a PhD degree from another university
The recruitment programme focuses on identifying original and innovative research ideas that can be integrated into the faculty’s existing research groups and contribute to the further development of SUND’s research profile.
